Structure: Central cylinder (heat sink base): responsible for directly contacting the LED chip and absorbing heat. Radial fins: increase the contact area with the air. The fins are designed with a slight twist or curvature, which helps to generate natural convection through the chimney effect. Color/Surface: Available in various anodized colors (gold, blue, purple, red, black, gunmetal gray, etc.), which not only enhances aesthetics but also improves thermal radiation efficiency. Applicable power: A single unit can support LED cooling requirements from 10-100W.

1. Aluminum Extrusion
Extrusion Process: Aluminum billets (typically 6063 alloy for its superior thermal conductivity) are heated and forced through a 1500-ton extrusion press to form the desired cross-sectional shape.
Cooling and Straightening: After air cooling, the extruded long profiles undergo tension straightening to eliminate internal stresses and ensure straightness, followed by aging treatment.
2. Precision Machining (CNC/Lathing) Flat Bottom: The bottom must be machined to ensure flatness (typically required to be ≤ 0.05 mm) to guarantee a tight fit with the LED chip. Drilling and Tapping: Screw holes for fixing the LED chip and lens are drilled into the top of the central cylinder. 3. Surface Treatment The vibrant colors shown in the image are mainly achieved through the following steps: Sandblasting/Polishing: Removes textures produced during forging and enhances surface texture. Anodizing: Dyeing process: Dyes are adsorbed into the micropores formed in the oxide film. Sealing treatment: Locks in the color and enhances corrosion resistance. Functional Significance: Black and dark surfaces have higher infrared emissivity, resulting in better heat dissipation in natural convection environments compared to lighter colors.
