Processing difficulty case: thin-walled structure and high-tolerance hole matching
The customer needs to customize an aluminum alloy connection module for an optical platform with the following requirements:
Material: Aluminum 7075-T6
Size: 90mm × 60mm × 30mm
Features: The wall thickness on both sides is only 1.2mm, and a set of φ8H7 + φ6 sliding matching holes are opened in the center of the interior, and the assembly accuracy requirements are high
Difficulty analysis
Thin-walled structures are prone to deformation or vibration during processing and clamping, affecting the hole position accuracy;
The two sets of matching holes need to reach H7 tolerance (±0.015mm), with high precision and low tolerance for assembly errors;
If the process is not well controlled during sandblasting + anodizing, micro deformation or dimensional deviation may occur.
Solution
Design flexible fixture + side pressure buffer device to ensure fixation without damaging parts;
Use high speed and low feed for finishing to reduce thermal deformation and chattering;
Precision holes use pre-drilling + reaming + boring tool multi-step process to control tolerance;
After anodizing, perform secondary light finishing + three-coordinate CMM full inspection to ensure final assembly accuracy.
Finally, the first-time delivery pass rate of this batch of CNC aluminium parts reached 99.6%
