When producing an ABS housing part for a 5G communication customer, the product size tolerance is required to be within ±0.03mm, and the surface requires high gloss and no grain. We take the following process control measures:

Mold optimization design: According to the product thickness and shape structure, reasonable glue inlet points, exhaust grooves and cooling circuits are designed to prevent shrinkage and air marks;

Parameter fine control: The injection molding machine is set at 230℃, the mold temperature is controlled at 65℃, the injection speed is medium-high speed, and the filling time is controlled within 1.2 seconds;

Molding cycle control: The entire injection cycle is maintained at 18 seconds, and the cooling time is repeatedly tested to balance the molding efficiency and appearance requirements;

Automated demoulding and inspection: Use a robot to automatically pick up parts to reduce human pollution, and perform size and appearance inspection on the first piece of each batch to ensure that it meets customer standards.
