Case project: disposable micro-syringe mandrel

Part size: length is only 12mm, maximum outer diameter is 1.6mm, inner hole diameter is only 0.25mm;

Material: medical-grade polypropylene;

Precision requirements: ±0.01mm;

Requirements: batch consistency, no burrs, no bubbles, required to be completed in a clean environment.

Difficulty analysis:

Micro molds are difficult to vent, and are prone to short shots or bubbles;

The tiny size leads to large demoulding resistance, and deformation or breakage often occurs;

The inner hole is extremely small, which places extremely high demands on the cooling system and core strength.

 

 

We use precision-machined mold steel (such as S136, M340), and use five-axis CNC + high-speed electric spark to fine-tune the mold cavity, and cooperate with the independently developed micro hot runner system to achieve uniform injection and control shrinkage deformation. In the batch stage, the injection parameters are detected in real time through the digital monitoring system to ensure the consistency and reliability of each medical micro molding product.
